This collection of images spans many yearsbeginning from the mid 1980s in Massachusettsup until a recent trip to Guatemala in 2022, including an extended time living and working of the photographer in different countries in Latin America. It started as a sporadic and largely unplanned series that little by little began to take shape. While studying at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Moller began to photograph people in transit: people temporarily in a suspended state people in the close company of others yet in their own worlds people often alone people anonymous and isolated. The B&W subway and ferry photographs in this book represent this early work. This work is not just about people using different forms of transportation it is also very much about the people themselves, their situations, and their lives. It is about our shared humanity
